So, now what?

Our house is officially done and on the market. I can't tell you how nice it's been to live without chaos: to come home to a newly remodeled house with nothing left on the to-do list, to be able to look in the fridge and cook a home cooked meal, to sit on the couch and watch TV (the few channels that we pick up with our rabbit ears).

It's been on the market for almost a week now. We've had showings everyday, sometimes several a day. We've gotten a lot of positive feedback, and one agent who scheduled a second showing and asked if we had other offers on the table. Honestly, I'd love to sell the house, but I'm really enjoying living there. It's nice to have a break... and I actually really love this house and the neighborhood... and I don't know where we're going to live when we sell it. So I'm fine either way.

On an unrelated note, Jarrod is playing with the Dallas Symphony again this week. I went to the concert with his mom last night. They are playing Overture to the Magic Flute by Mozart, some SUPER contemporary clarinet concerto by Corigliano (Richard Stoltzman on Clarinet ), Ravel's Bolero and Debussy's La Mer. During La Mer, they had a slide show of impressionist paintings. It was really nice... but anything tonal was a relief after that wild Clarinet concerto.

Other than that, Jarrod and I have been back to our favorite past time - sitting on the couch watching our DVD episodes of House. We played duets the other night, which was a lot of fun. I'm just happy to be doing anything other than PAINTING!

I'm sure it's just a wonderful feeling to just be able to relax and enjoy one another's company without a to-do list in the background.

Oh, to have DVDs of House...no, I can't covet!! Do you know when it comes on this season? We haven't figured out yet when the new episodes come on.

Love you!
